The Baby Rule

I would like to share a very helpful and useful rule that I have come across in my study of health.  The rule is simple, yet extremely profound and far reaching.  The rule is: "If you wouldn't do it to a baby then don't do it to yourself.  If it's not nourishing for a baby, it's not nourishing for you."

 I will give some example to help elucidate what I mean.

No one would think it wise to give a baby liquor, so it certainly isn't wise for us to drink a poisonous substance.
 
Having a baby smoke a cigarette is dangerous for the little one, so it too is dangerous for us.
Standing in the middle of the road is hazardous for a little baby, it's just as hazardous for us grown folk. =)

These are the obvious ones.  There are some that are a little harder to spot.  Babies are so in tune with their bodies, that they still respond to every little interaction perfectly. 

It would seem cruel to wake a baby from a peaceful and restful sleep, but many of us wake up to alarm clocks, ensuring that we are sleep deprived every time it does our bodies job of waking us up.  The body knows when it is ready to go back to action.  The same way it would cause a baby to cry when prematurely woken, our bodies cry to be left alone as we interrupt their essential tasks of replenishing our life force and making any necessary repairs.

No one would intentionally give a baby a man-made poison.  ALL agricultural pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, and all the other abominations are poisons!  Anytime a baby is fed non-organic or conventional ("chemical" is the true name) food, that baby's body is being subjected to a poisonous substance that has only existed for the last 100 years at most.  These same toxic substance prove just a deadly to our adult body.

It's rare, thankfully, to see a 10 month old baby watching a violent war, horror, or scary film.  These images and scenes are just has harmful to our minds.  Only after being bombarded repeatedly by stressful, violent images can we coldly watch, or even laugh at the gruesome media we see on tv and film.

Coffee isn't the best drink for a baby, is it?  How about soda?  Anyone give their baby Snickers bars?  Think it's a good idea to negatively criticize a little one?

This analogy is endless.  "Why?", you might ask.  It's really quite simple.  Babies are human beings, adults are human beings. We are subject to the same rules of life.  Try to find other areas where the analogy applies.  This practice may arouse uncomfortableness as we confront our weaknesses.  Remember though, that by working on our weaknesses we will see the greatest gain and improvements in our lives.

Warriors of the Rainbow Clan learning to be Parents and Soldiers to Love in the leaves (relatives in the blue of me and you, the trail of tears).  Take up weapons to slain, all we don't need (sever ignorance, with validation, mending two broken hearts).  Yet as our hearts tremble (because those who use hate or separation), we stand for LOVE all the way, this means we are loyal to all of God children who breath.  We have tears abundant for all who need to forgive their parents and

children please.  Because a new Dawning is coming, to alleviate all this fuss, and make us be champions, who fight in the dust.  Planting and rooting, to find the waters edge, there we are the heart of everything said.  New stories are abundant to all that we say, and we are going on a journey, that leads us a way (in sacred flight, the souls dream).  Into the hearts of those who need light, to bless all their darkness, sow shade will be right (from within the darkness the light is born)(by alleviating their plight, blessed by heaven, the soul's realm through the sacred walk).  We are fighting for LOVE every day, including the LOVE of HEAVEN sent.  Let us be warriors who stand for what is right, because we show mercy, and we have more love to show the way. 

Teach what is right, that law is the LOVE, then when two hearts united, we fight with intelligence.  However if LOVE doesn't lead the way, then we fight to unite LOVE, two broken hearts, then we know that we are walking the truth path, the love to each other, the kind that lasts, over rolling hills in time, over the suns, and into the heart of the blue seas of every one.  We are the Prophecy, the Rain upon the Land, so parched, it will need a Rainbow, to serve it home the right way and know where to land (the Rainbow always lands on the pot of gold, abundance, brotherhood)!  White Buffalo Calf Woman Sings for the Rainbow Clan.
